Today your challenge is to take some time out to disconnect from technology.
Research has shown that although we may resist it, we really do need down time after work to mentally recharge for the next day.
Try putting your phone down and have a face-to-face conversation instead. It gives you a chance to build your oral skills, make some memories, and have more candid moments with your family and friends. Chances are, the people you spend time talking online with for many hours is actually a lot different in person
Disconnect to give yourself the opportunity to boost your creativity. Original work comes at the most unexpected moments. It may come during a walk in the park, or even in the shower. Disconnecting gives us the space to think about the events that occurred during the day
Disconnecting draws us out it and gives us an opportunity to remember why we’re here. It reminds us that life is happening right here, right now, and if you just can’t put your phone / tablet down during the day, try putting it down an hour before you go to bed.
